The ATEM still runs the show
Switching, streaming, and per-input ISO recording stay on the hardware you already trust. Multicam Director never sits in the signal path.
The iPad becomes the surface
Multiview, tap-to-cut, and tally on a tablet, so whoever is switching is not hunched over the box.
The cut comes back as a timeline
Every switch is logged against the ISO timecode. That log rebuilds the program cut and exports it as a synced multicam sequence.

The export engine is the part that already works — a program cut reconstructed from a switch log, out to all four formats, with its automated checks passing. The iPad surface and the live ATEM link are still in engineering. That is why this is a pre-order and not a download.
The honest answers.
What hardware does it need? +
An ATEM Mini Pro ISO, a Mac, and an iPad on the same network. The ISO model matters, because the per-input recordings are what the multicam timeline gets built from.
Which editors can open the result? +
Final Cut, Resolve, and Premiere. The ATEM already writes a Resolve project by itself. The reason this exists is the other two, plus OTIO and EDL for anything that reads neither.
How much of it works today? +
The cross-NLE export is built and its automated checks pass. Importing those exports into each NLE by hand has not been verified yet, and the iPad control surface and the ATEM link are still ahead of us. Better you hear that here than after paying.
